HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2311 RESOLUTION NO. 2311 COMMENDING BARBARA HARRIS FOR SERVICE AS A PLANNING COMMISSIONER WHEREAS, Barbara Harris has served the City of Saratoga as a Planning Commissioner from January 1985 to January 1986, and is now retiring from the Commission to pursue other objectives, and WHEREAS, during this period of time Mrs. Harris has carried out the demanding duties of a Planning Commissioner conscientiously and responsibly, and WHEREAS, Mrs. Harris has contributed greatly to the planning process and consistently upheld the principles of the ordinances of the City, maintaining the sense of fairness in Commission deliberations, and WHEREAS, her particular contributions have been participation on the Land Use Committee and in the process of amending the Zoning ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saratoga commends and thanks BARBARA HARRIS for her service on the Planning Commission. We appreciate her contribution to the fair administration of City planning and wish her well in the future. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 19th day of February, 1986, by the following vote: AYES: Councils Callon, Fanelli, Hlava, Moyles and Mayor Clevenger NOES: None ABSENT None /s/Martha Clevenger Mayor ATTEST: /s/Grace E.
