RESOLUTIC~ NO. 2316
A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
~ING S~N CARNEKIE
WHEREAS, Stan Carnekie is leavir~ City e~ployment after eleven years.,
faithfully serving first as Administrative Assistant and since 1978 as
the City's Housing and Camunity DeveloFment Director; and
WHEREAS, Stan has made many frieds in the ccmmmity through his ~Drk with
citizen task grcups, the Saratoga Are Senior Coordinating Coancil, and
through the administration of Block Grant progrins and Saratoga's Housir~
Rehabilitation program; and
WHEREAS, Stan has consistently demonstrated his concern for the well being
of his fellow employees by taking a leadership role in the Saratoga ~ployees
Association, as President of the organization and also as a member of the
employee negotiating team; and
~{EREAS, Stan's sense of humor, his sartorial splendor, and his enthusiastic
enjoyment of life have brightened all of our days.
NOW, ~}~EFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that
is hereby ccmnended and thanked for his years of service. We wish him well
in the future as he leaves the pablic sector to go into private business.
~he above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Saratoga City Council held on the 5th day of March, 1986, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Fanelti, Hlava, Moyles and Mayor Clevenger
NOES: None
ABSEM~: Councilmenber Callon
