RESOLUTION NO. 2364
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
SUPPORTING THE SARATOGA FALL PARADE
WHEREAS, the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce has sponsored a Fall
Parade in Saratoga for twenty-one years, and
WHEREAS, this year's Fall Parade will be held on September 28,
1986, and
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce has spent many hours this year
and in previous years on a volunteer basis to make the Fall
Parade a true reflection of Saratoga and its many community
groups, schools, and, businesses, and
WHEREAS, the parade is a colorful and meaningful expression of
antique cars, horses,
districts, and the Shertff's mounted patrol.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saratoga City Council
hereby commends the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce for the efforts
they have expanded on the parade and urges all residents to enjoy
this unique event either as spectators or as participants.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 6th day
of August, 1986, by the following vote:
