A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF FEES AS
ADOPTED IN RESOLUTION NO. 2383
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1986~ the City Council of the City of Saratoga
adopted Resolution No. 2383 establishing a schedule of fees for various applications:
permits, extensions, renewals, services and other matters enumerated therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Resolution No. 2383 with
respect to the fee charged for issuance of encroachment permits,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Saratoga as follows:
1. The fee charged pursuant to Section 10-20.080(a) of the City Code
for issuance of an encroachment permit shall be an amount equal to ten percent (10%)
of the most recent assessed value per square foot of the property for whose benefit
the permit is granted, as calculated on the square footage of the area covered by the
permit. Such fee represents the amount determined by the City Council to be the fair
consideration for use and occupancy of public property by the holder of the
encroachment permit and such holder~s successors and assigns. The fee shall be paid at
the time the encroachment permit is granted and no amount shall be charged for
processing the application for such permit.
2. Except as herein amended; Resolution No. 2383 is declared to be in
full force and effect.

Saratoga held on the 18fli day of F~g~Y ~ 1987~ by the following vote:
