RESOL]EION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS AND AMENDING THE 1986-87. FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
WH~, it has been recommended by the City Manager that the following transfer of
appropriations and increase in the present budget appropriations be made:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the budget of the City of Saratoga adopted by
Resolution 2347 be amended as follows:
Transfer:
$ 41,850 from General Fund Fund Balance to General Fund
Appropriations per the attached detail listing.

PurPose}- Although General Fund Appropriations were underspent in total by
approxink~tely $428,000, individual program line-itemLs were overspent by approxink~tely
$41,850. This transfer authorizes expenditures which have already occurred by increasing
line-item appropriations.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and ado ted at regular meeting of the
Saratoga City Council held on the 2nd day of SeP~u~ 1987, a
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Anderson, Clevenger, Hlava, MDyles, and Mayor Peterson
