~, Wilma Morrison was appointed to the Saratoga Library Commission in
April of 1979, and
WHEREAS, Wilma has actively participated in the activities of the Commission
through her thoughtful comments durir~ Commission deliberations , and
WHEREAS, Wilma has served the Commission by acting as its secretary and by
serving on the Task Force on Library Plnancir~, and
I~rlEREAS, Wilma has also shown her commitment to the Library and to the
community as a whole by her library-oriented activities in other groups to
which she belongs, and - ',~
WHEREAS, the Saratoga City Council is most grateful that its citizens are
willing to devote time and energy to City affairs through participation on
its boards and commissions, since such participation is an important means of
making City government responsive to the needs and opinions of the citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that
is commended and thanked for her years of service on the Saratoga Library
Commission, and the City Council hopes that she will see fit to continue to
serve the City in other ways now that her service on the Commission is
ccnplete.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 4th day of March, 1987, by
the following vote:
AYES: Councils Andarscn, Clevenger, Moyles, Peterson, and Mayor Hlava
