A RESOLUTION OF TME CITY COUNCIL, ACTING IN BEHALF OF
WEST VALLEY COLLEGE AND TME CITY OF SARATOGA, APPOINTING
TMREE MEMBERS TO T~E CABLE TV LOCAL ACCESS POLICY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Cable TV Local Access Policy Board was established
pursuant to an Agreement between the City of Saratoga and West
Valley College to provide policy direction for community
television programming on cable Channel 8 in Saratoga; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement stipulated that the City and the College
shall each appoint two representatives who shall, in turn,
appoint three citizen-at-large members to complete the seven-
member Board; and
WHEREAS, the four representatives of the City and the College
have conducted interviews to fill the vacancies on the Board, and
have determined which individuals are most qualified to serve on
the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Saratoga, acting in behalf of the City and West Valley
College,~ does hereby appoint the following members to the Cable
TV Local Access Policy Board:
Benjamin Strong, Jr.
Robert Clancey
Gay J. Crawford
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the lath day
of March, 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: CouncilmembersAndexson, Clevenger, Peterson, andMayor Hlava
NOES: None
ABSENT: Counc~rMEyles
