(XMLNG DAVID PINES FOR HIS SERVICE AS A PLANNING CCMISSIO~
WHEREAS, David Pines has served the City of Saratoga with distinction as a
Planning Commissioner from August 1985 to. April 1987, and
WHEREAS, he has actively partici ted in the public hearings, exhibiting a
thorough knowledge of the City ~P~e~ and
W~, he has always added a se~lse of fairness to all public hearings and
has always been concerned for the residents of Saratoga and their well-being,
and
WHEREAS, he has made a great contribution to the planning process and has
consistently upheld the principles of the General Plan and ordinances of the
City of Saratc~a, and
WHEREAS, he has influenced the aesthetic quality of development in the City
through his architectural expertise, and
WHEREAS, his past experience, particularly his work on the Marin County
Planning Commission, has enabled him to become very familiar with the
principles of design review and variance procedures in many different cities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT I~,SOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saratoga
commends and thanks
DAVID PINES
for his dedication and service to the City and extends to him its
appreciation and best wishes for the future.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga
City Council at a regular meeting held 0n the 15th day of April, 1987, by the
following vote:
