RESOLUTION NO. 2432

WHEREAS, Dans Callans served the City of Saratoga on the
Finance Advisory Committee from January of 1984 until he was
appointed to the Planning Commission in August of 1986, and
WHEREAS, Dans participated in the deliberations of both the
Finance Advisory Committee and the Planning Commission with
thoughtfulness and enthusiasm, and
WHEREAS, while on the Finance Advisory Committee Dans
participated in evaluation of options on the Cox/Saratoga-
Sunnyvale Road property, assisted in the evaluation of audit
proposals, rev/ewed the 1986-87 preliminary budget, and served
as chair of the CcmJnittee, and
WHEREAS, among the specific tasks in which Dans was involved on
the Planning Commission are review of the Village Plan and the
evaluation of the pr.oposed design review ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saratoga City Council
commends and thanks Dans Collans for the years of service which
he has contributed to the City.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 1st
day of July, 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilnlrs Anderson, Clevenger, Hlava, MDyleS and Mayor Peterson
