~, the City of has undergone recent organizational changes,
and recent chan~es have been made in the California Political Reform
Act, and
WHEREAS, the current Conflict of Interest Code designates the Community
Development Director as a public official required to disclose economic
interests, but this position no lcr~er exists in the City of Saratc~a, while
the position of City Engineer has been added, and
WHEREAS, the current Ccefltct of Interest Code desi~nates the City Attorney
as a public official required to disclose economic interests, but the
California Political Reform Act itself also now so designates the City
Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Section 2 of Resolution 779 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2: APPLICATION OF CODE. This Conflict of Interest Code
shall be applicable to the Cx)mmmtty Services Director, Finance
Director, Maintenance Director, City Engineer and Planning Director.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular
meetir~ of the Saratoga City Council held on the 21st day of 3anuary, 1987,
