RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE ADVISORY ELECTION CONCERNING
MEASURES L AND M AT THE ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 8, 1988
WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election was conducted on November
8, 1988, consolidated with the California General Election held
on that same date, and
WHEREAS, the results of that election have been duly certified by
the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters, a copy of the
official canvass of ballots cast in the election being attached
hereto as Exhibit A, and
WHEREAS, the City Council now meets to declare the results of the
canvass of ballots.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council determines
the results of the election to be as shown on Exhibit A attached
to and made a part of this resolution, and that the City Clerk is
directed to enter these results in the official records of the
City of Saratoga.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 7th day of
December, 1988, by the following vote:

I, George A. Mann, Registrar of Voters of said County,
hereby declare that at the General Election held on November 8,
1988, and consolidated therewith, a Special Municipal Election
was held in the CITY OF SARATOGA for the purpose submitting
Advisory Measures L and M to the voters of said City, to wit:
L Should the Saratoga City Council amend the
freeway agreement to provide for one or more
interchanges within the City?
M What is your preference for interchange
location? (Choose one; you may vote on this
measure regardless of your vote on the
preceding measure. )
1 ) Prospect Road
2 ) Saratoga Avenue
3 ) Quito Road
4) More than one
That the results of said Election was canvassed by the
Office of the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters in
accordance with applicable provisions of the California Elections
Code; and,
That the Statement of Votes Cast, to which this Certificate
is attached, shows the whole number of "YES" and "NO" votes cast
for and against Measures L and M in said City and in each of the
respective precincts; and that the totals shown are full, true
and correct.
