RgSOL~TION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tlil CITY OF SITOGA

WH:EREi~, BOb Mutford ie now moving out of Saratoga and resigning
his position on the Public Safety Commission, and
WBERF~aS, Robert Mulf.ord has served on the Commission for five
years, having been appointed as a charter member when it was
first established, and
WaFMRFa%S, Bob was elected as chair of the Commission in both 1986
and 1987, and
WH~RFa~, Bob was known as an outspoken Commissioner who took his
work seriously, always did his homework, and often visited sites
where traffic safety improvements were proposed, and
WB~, he also spent considerable time monitoring traffic and
riding along with officers to gain an accurate assessment of
field conditions, a~llowing him to address issues from personal
experience, and
WB~R~/&8, in short., Bob was a champion for the cause of law
enforcement in Saratoga, and his departure from the Commission
and from the City of Saratoga will leave a void difficult to
fill.
NOW, THBRIFORI, B! IT RESOLVID, that
BOB MULFORD
is hereby commended and thanked for his many hours of hard work
on the Public Safety Commission.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 5th day of April,
1989, by the following vote:
