A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ATTORNEYS TO CONDUCT
PROPOSED ANNEXATION NO. 1989-1 TO CITY OF
SARATOGA LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT LLA-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga, California, that
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake proceedings for the
annexation of territory to an existing assessment district pursuant to the provisions of
the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 and for the construction or installation of
improvements in said territory, including the maintenance or servicing, or both,
thereof; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by appointing
and employing attorneys for the preparation and conduct of said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the law firm of ATKINSON-FARASYN be, and it is hereby, appointed
and employed to do and perform all legal services required in the conduct of said
roeeedings, and that its compensation be, and it is hereby, fixed at not to exceed
~500.00.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Saratoga, California at a
meeting thereof held on the 19jay of April ,1989, by the following vote:
