A RBSOLUTION OF TI~ CITY COUNCIL OF TI~ CITY OF SARATOGA
ESTABLISHING THE 1989-90 FlSC~ YEAR
APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR THE CITY OF SARATOGA
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga has established its Base Year
appropriation limit as $5,961,747 (Five Million, Nine Hundred
Sixty-one Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-seven Dollars)~ and
WHEREAS, the cumulative appropriate changes to the City's
population, the Consumer Price Index, and per capita income
statewide since the Base Year established the 1988-89 Fiscal Year
Appropriations Limit as $10,842,671(Ten Million, Eight Hundred
Forty-two Thousand, Six Hundred Seventy-one Dollars); and
WHEREAS, to the best of this City's knowledge and belief, the
State Department of Finance figures provided to this City reflect
the appropriate statistics relevant to the calculation of the
1987-88 Fiscal Year Appropriation Limit:
Consumer Price Index change on a March-to-March basis for
the period ending March, 1989, plus 4.98% (four point nine
eight percent);
Population adjustments for 1989, plus 0.70% (zero point
seven zero percent).
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
~~: Based on the foregoing figures and the provisions of
Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California, the
following figure accurately represents the 1989-90 Fiscal Year
Appropriation Limit for the City of Saratoga: $11,462,315
(Eleven Million, Four Hundred Sixty-two Thousand, Three Hundred
Fifteen Dollars).
~ a: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 21st day
of aune, 1989, by the following vote:

NOES: None.
