A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH
GREEN VALLEY DISPOSAL COMPANY FOR CURBSIDE RECYCLING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that recycled solid waste materi-
als reduce the cost of disposing of solid waste; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interest
of the residents of Saratoga to implement curbside recycling
services in the City; and
WHEREAS, curbside recycling program proposals were received from
four contractors; and
WHEREAS, Green Valley Disposal Company's proposal was found to be
the most feasible program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to
execute the attached agreement with Green Valley Disposal Company
for curbside recycling services.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 18th day
of October, 1989, by the following vote:
