HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 93-026 RESOLUTION NO, 93-026 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA ESTABLISHING THE 1993-94 FISCAL YEAR APPROPRIATIOn: LIKIT FOR THE CITY OF SARATOGA WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga has established its Base Year appropriation limit as $5,961,747 (Five Million, Nine Hundred Sixty-one Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-seven Dollars)¡ and WHEREAS, the cumulative appropriate changes to the City's population, the Consumer Price Index, and per capita income statewide since the Base Year established the revised Proposition 111 1992-93 Fiscal Year Appropriation Limit as $13,046,473 (Thirteen Million, Forty-Six Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-three Dollars); and WHEREAS, to the best of this City I S knowledge and belief, the State Department of Finance figures provided to this City in response to Propos i tion 111 passed by the voters in June 1990, as audited, reflect the appropriate statistics relevant to the calcula.tion of the 1993-94 Fiscal Year Appropriation Limit: Consumer Price Index change on a March-to-March basis for the period ending March, 1993, plus 2.72% (Two point seven two percent) ; Population adjustments for 1993, plus .88% (point eight eight percent) . NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows~ Section 1: Based on the foregoing figures and the provisions of Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California, the following figure accurately represents the 1993-94 Fiscal Year Appropriation Limit for the City of Saratoga: $13,519,269 (Thirteen Hi 11 ion , Five Hundred Nineteen Thousand, Two Hundred Sixty-nine Dollars.) Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution.
