Pat Mahler, speaking on behalf of the Friends of the

Book donations have increased and it is difficult to make
accommodations for these additional volumes especially
during the winter season.
The Friends of the Library would like to request of the
city that they allow the empty mobile unit in the
Corporation Yard to be used as additional storage space
and that it be added to their annual rental agreement.
Commissioner Ceppos made a motion and Commissioner
Grantham seconded to support the Friends in their request
of the City. The motion was passed unanimously. Staff

be increased beginning in the new year.
Irene M. Jacobs, city Staff Representative
Ms. Jacobs informed the Commission that on the City
Council Agenda for that same night, the Council would be
discussing the possibility of establishing a new format

discuss goals and ideas with the city Council. The
Council will be discuss whether to change that format to
having the chair of each commission meet with the Mayor
