RESOLUTION LIMITING PARKING TO TWO HOURS ON
CERTAIN PORTIONS OF STATE ROUTE '9 (BIG BASIN
WAY) BETWEEN STATE ROUTE 85 (SARATOGA-SUNNYVALE
ROAD) AND THIRD STREET
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
resolves as follows:
Section 1: Based upon an engineering and traffic
study th~ing designated portions of State Highway
Route 9 in the City of Saratoga are hereby declared to be
congested areas and the following limits for parking of
motor vehicles are hereby established for said portions of
said street:

The within provisions shall, subject to Section 2
hereof, become effective at such time as the proper signs
and/or markings are installed to designate said limited parking.
Section 2: Pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 22506 of
the State o'~fornia, the within resolution shall not · ~'
become effective unless and until the same is first submitted
to and approved in writing by the Department of Transportation
of the State of California.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 16th day of November 1977 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Bridges, Kraus, Corr, & Matteoni
NOES: None .."' :.,
ABSENT: Councilman Brigham
