IANE UP(~ P(JRT/CE~ OF PROSPEC~ ROAD
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as follows:
Section 1: Based upon an engirm~ring and traffic study, and pursuant to
to Section 9-60,050 of the Saratoga City Code, the following designated portion
of street in the City of Saratoga is hereby declared to be a bicycle lane.
Name of Street Location and Description
Prospect Road A one-~ay bicycle lane consisting of
a 6' wide strip located outside of the
8' parking lane on the south side of
Prospect Road, between Lawrence Expressway
and the easterly City limits.
Section 2: The City Engineer is hereby authorized to designate the here-
inabove set forth bicycle lane by the requisite painting and insta] ]ation of
signs designating and delineating said lane.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of
May , 1989 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmentors Clevenger, Moyles, Peterson, Stutzman, and Mayor Anderson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None ~.
