RESOLUTION PROHIBITING RIGHT TURN ON RED
FOR SARATOGA AVENUE AT ITS INTERSECTIONS
WITH THE STATE ROUTE 85 FREEWAY ON RAMPS
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: The right turn on red, after stopping, shall be prohibited on
the following streets:

Saratoga Avenue All vehicles traveling southwest' Between 7:00 a.m. and
bound on Saratoga Avenue, 9:00 a.m., Mon.-Fri.
intending to tum right onto north-
bound Freeway 85, shall stop and
remain stopped while facing a red
traffic light, and shall proceed to
make a right tum, only when facing
a green traffic light.
Saratoga Avenue All vehicles traveling northeast Between 4:00 p.m. and
bound on Saratoga Avenue, 7:00 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
intending to turn right onto south-
bound Freeway 85, shall stop and
remain stopped while facing a red
traffic light and shall proceed to
make a right turn, only when facing
a green traffic light.
The above right turn on red prohibitions shall become effective at such time as
the proper signs are installed.
The above and forog.oing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 18~h day of March, 1998
by the following vote:
