RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AUTOMATIC TRAFFIC
SIGNAL DEVICES AT INTERSECTION OF SARATOGA
AVENUE AND FRUITVALE AVENIlE, INTERSECTION
OF MILLER AVENUE AND PROSPECT ROAD AND
INTERSECTION OF ALLENDALE AVENUE AND FRUIT-
VALE AVENUE, AND PROVIDING FOR U-TURNS AT
SAID INTERSECTIONS.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1: Official automatic traffic signals shall
be installed at the hereinafter described
intersections, to control traffic at each of intersections by
standard form green "Go", yellow "Caution", and red "Stop"
lights, together with left turn lanes and signals, which shall
be regulated by the Director of Public Works to operate in
conjunction with the normal traffic for each of said intersec-
tions. U-turns shall be permitted from the left turn lane of
each of said intersections, upon the green signal light for
such left turn lane, upon the erection of appropriate signs
thereat by the Director of Public Works. Said intersections
are as follows:
Saratoga Avenue and Fruitvale Avenue
Miller Avenue and Prospect Road
Allendale Avenue and Fruitvale Avenue.
Section 2: The aforesaid official traffic signal
devices having already been installed at
each of said intersections, this resolution shall become effec-
tive immediately upon its passage and adoption,
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the Cityof Saratoga at a regular meeting
held on the 4th day of November, 1970, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Bridges, Sanders, Smith and Robbins
