RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA PROHI-
BITING PARKING OR STOPPING AT ANY TIME ALONG
THE EASTERLY SIDE OF FRUITVALE AVENUE FROM
THE EXTENDED NORTHERLY LINE OF SAN MARCOS
ROAD TO A POINT 600 FEET NORTHERLY, EXCEPT
FOR EMERGENCY ONLY
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves
as follows:
SECTION 1: PARKING REGULATIONS
SECTION 1.1: EMERGENCY PARKING
Based upon an engineering traffic study, the following
designated portions of streets and/or highways in the City of Saratoga
are hereby declared to be congested areas, and to facilitate the pro-
per movement of traffic, the parking of motor vehicles is prohibited
on the portions of the streets and highways, except for emergency only,
hereinafter described:
Name of Street
Fruitvale Avenue Along the easterly side from
the extended northerly line of
San Marcos Road to a point 600
feet northerly.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held
on the 17th day of May, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: councilmen Smith, Bridges, Kraus and Diridon
NOES: None
ABSENt. Councilman Dwyer
