RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING "YIELD" INTER-
SECTION AND DELINEATING PORTIONS OF
GLENBRAE DRIVE AND HAMMONS AVENUE BY
DO~LE-YELLOW CENTERLINE STRIPING
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as
fo 1 lows:
SECTION 1: Based on an engineering and traffic study, the
intersection of Glenbrae Drive and Hammons Avenue
in the City of Saratoga is hereby designated as a "Yield"
intersection.
All vehicles traveling on Glenbrae Drive shall yield to traffic
on Hammons Avenue before entering or crossing the intersection
thereof. This section shall become effective at such time as
the "Yield" signs are erected.
SECTION 2: Based on an engineering and traffic study, the
following designated portions of streets in the
City of Saratoga shall be designated by double-yellow center-
line striping to indicate no driving to the left thereof:
Name of Street
Hammons Avenue from + 50~~ northerly of Glenbrae Dr.
to _+ 50' southerly of Glenbrae Dr.
Glenbrae Drive from + 50' easterly of Hammons AVe.
to _+ 50' 'westerly of Hammons Ave.
This sect-ion shall become effective at such time as the
proper striping is put down.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga.
held on the 21st day of March, 1973, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, Dwyer, Diridon and Bridges
