RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION
AT WARDELL ROAD AND CARNIEL AVE.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as
follows:
SECTION I: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the
following intersection in the City of Saratoga is
hereby d~signated as a stop intersection:
WARDELL ROAD AND CARNIEL AVENUE
All vehicles traveling on Carniel Ave., both northbound and
southbound, shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection
thereof with Wardell Road.
All vehicles traveling on Wardell Road both eastbound and west-
bound shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection thereof
with Carniel Ave.
This section shall become effective at such time as the proper
signs are installed.
SECTION II: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the following
designated portions of streets in the City of Saratoga.
shall be designated by double-yellow centerline striping to indicate
no driving to the left thereof:
Name of Street
Carniel Ave. from 50' ± northerly of Wardell Rd.
to 50' ± southerly of Wardell Rd.
Wardell Road from 50' + easterly of Carniel Ave.
to 50' ~ westerly of Carniel Ave.
This section shall become effective at such time as the proper
striping is put down.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held
on the 15th day of August, 1973, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Diridon, Bridges and Smith
NOES: Councilmen 1~raus and Dwyer
