RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS AT THE
INTERSECTIONS OF BEAUMONTAND THELMAAVENUES, MILJEVICH
AND KILBRIDE DRIVES, GLASGOW AND KILBRIDE DRIVES, REID
LANM AND ELVIRA STREET AND REPEALING PORTIONS OF MV-40 and MV-57
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as follows:
SECTION I: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the following
intersections in the City of Saratoga are hereby designated
as stop intersections~
BEAUMONTAVENUE AND THELMAAVENUE
All vehicles traveling on Thelma Avenue eastbound shall stop before
entering or crossing the intersection thereof with Beaumont Avenue.
SECTION II: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the following
intersections in the City of Saratoga. are hereby designated
as stop intersections~
MILJEVICH DRIVE AND KILBRIDE DRIVE
All vehicles traveling on Kilbride Drive both southeastbound and
northwestbound, shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection
thereof with Miljevich Drive
SECY;.ION III: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the following
intersections in the City of Saratoga are hereby designated
as stop intersections:
GLASGOW DRIVE AND KILBRIDE DRIVE
All vehicles traveling on Kilbride Drive, both southeastbound and
northwestbound, shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection thereof
with Glasgow Drive.
SECTION IV~ Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the following
intersections in the City of Saratoga. are hereby designated
as stop intersections:
REID LANE AND ELVIRA STREET
All vehicles traveling on Elvira Street, northbound, shall stop
before entering or crossing the intersection thereof with Reid Lane
SECTION V: In order to implement the regulations a.s set=forth in Sections
II and III, Resolution MV-40 (adopted May 3, 1972), Resolution
MV-57 (adopted March 7, 1973), and'any other resolution in conflict with
this resolution, are hereby rescinded. The remainder of said resolutions
:not in conflict with this r.esolution shall remain in full force and effect.
This resolution shall become effective at such time as the stop signs
are erected.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga at the regular meeting held on the 4th
day of December , 1974, by the following vote:
